Strategic Thinking
Innovation and Policy Analysis (IPA) is a partnership between California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) and the US Army Research Laboratory (ARL) in collaboration with the Network Science Center (NSC) at the United States Military Academy (USMA) at West Point to address public policy and technology barriers to effective information sharing. We utilize surveys and other models to tackle organizational and technological obstacles to improve situational awareness among soldiers and first responders. We combine network science research with an analysis of public policy, legislative policy, and technology transfer to advance effective strategies for the US Army and homeland security.
